????Fried Chicken Tandoori Sandwich with Achari Mayo????

Crispy,crunchy and spicy tandoori spiced chicken. Sweet and sour achari mayo ( you read it right Achari Mayo!! ) and freshly chopped salad, all presented in a sandwich!! The ultimate desi chicken burger!!

I have been getting a lot of requests for a chicken burger recipe. You guys just don’t want me to loose any weight!! So here it is a chicken sandwich with a desi touch.

RECIPE:????

Tandoori chicken marinade:
2 chicken skinless boneless breast halves.
2 tbsp Tandoori masala
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 cup buttermilk ( mix one cup milk with a tsp vinegar and let it sit until it curdles)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 egg
Salt to taste

For Frying:
1 cup Flour
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt

ACHARI MAYO:
1/2 cup mayo
1 tsp honey
1 tsp your favourite achar
Squeeze of lemon
Salt to taste

Sandwich Assembly:
4 burger buns
Chopped salad

DIRECTIONS:????

1️⃣Prick the chicken with a fork, help with getting the flavours all the way through.
2️⃣Beat buttermilk with one egg.
3️⃣Marinate the chicken by mixing all the ingredients mentioned under chicken marinade and buttermilk egg mixture. For 5/6 hours.
4️⃣Make the drench by mixing the flour with all the spices ( mentioned under “for frying “ )
5️⃣Fry the chicken by coating the chicken in flour mixture on both sides. You can double coat if you want it super crispy.
6️⃣Fry until cooked through.
7️⃣Make Achari Mayo by mixing all the ingredients mentioned under achari mayo.
8️⃣Assemble the sandwich by generously applying Achari Mayo on the bun. Followed by the fried chicken. Top with your favourite chopped salad or onion and tomatoes. Enjoy!!
