Andiccio24 has been in South Africa for a while but it was never Halaal. The first Halaal branch in the country was launched in Rosebank recently and we went to try it out. They have a unique concept where you can build your own pizza. You can choose everything from the base to the toppings to the type of cheese. Base choices include margheritas, focaccias, calzones and banting options. Topping choices include boerewors, biltong, smoked salmon, cranberry sauce, meatballs and achar. Cheeses include feta, halloumi, cream cheese and vegan cheese.

We had fun creating our own unique pizzas. Mine had prawns, peppadews, olives and avocado. My husband had chicken, olives, mozzarella balls and jalapenos .My daughter had beef ribs, jalapenos and sesame seeds. My son loves margheritas and he had his with extra cheese.
They also make dessert pizzas - ours was topped with Nutella, Oreos and marshmallows. You can also opt for Haagen-Dazs, or their Lindt and Ferrero cupcakes for dessert.

Apart from pizzas, they make delicious soups (we had minestrone), pastas (choose your own topping), ciabattas, smoothies and a wide range of drinks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Try them out. You can find them on the outside of Rosebank Mall, in line with the entrance.
