Review: Mo-Ez Fusion

There's a new upmarket restaurant in Lenasia and it's a must visit if you enjoy good food. Mo-Ez Fusion opened earlier this year and we'd been meaning to visit them for a while. Our expectations were high before we even went there - firstly because we had seen some great reviews about it already, and secondly because we had looked at the menu, and the dishes sounded so tantalising that we couldn't wait to try them. The restaurant features elegant Middle Eastern-themed decor. It was very busy when we got there - more proof of good food - and we expected to wait long - but we were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter, Ebrahim, was friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait long at all. The starters were some of our favourites - stuffed calamari, grilled halloumi and falafels. Mains were coal-grilled ribeye steak, grilled Sacana prawns and aged ribeye skewers, all served with tempting sides. The desserts were baklava cheesecake (which I've never seen on a restaurant menu before), kataifi and cold baklava. Everything was delicious and our expectations were exceeded, alhamdulillah. It's definitely worth driving to Lenasia to. Check them out @mo.ez_fusion or visit them at 2 Protea Avenue, Lenasia
