Prawn 65

I've missed having seafood for all of Ramadaan and hope to be able to include it more regularly as better eating becomes a norm again. .
This #tbt this delicious PRAWN 65 Asian dish inspired by the popular Chicken 65. I love this dish because it incorporates protein and veggies into a one-pot meal and can be served with any of a variety of starches. I enjoy this meal served over fragrant Jasmine rice or Basmati rice but also pairs well with noodles or couscous.

Prawn 65

500g prawn meat
Marinade:
2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
¼ tsp tumeric powder
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp corn flour
1 egg
1 tsp Salt
Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl, add chicken and allow to sit for a few hours in the fridge.
Deep fry in oil till done, set it aside.

Sauce:
1 green chilli
6-8 curry leaves
1 onion, sliced in chunks
½ red onion, sliced in chunks
1 red pepper, cut into strips
1 green pepper, cut into strips
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
Juice of ½ a lemon

Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add green chilli and curry leaves. Fry for a minute. Add onion and peppers and stirfry for few minutes on high heat.

Season with chili powder and salt . Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce and ginger-garlic paste and mix well.

Return the fried prawn to the pan and toss to coat. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over. Garnish with chopped dhania/spring onions.???? .
